Our certified Canine Coaches are expertly trained in dog body language and pack management for all dog breeds, sizes and temperaments, which allows for safe, supervised open play. Your pup will learn good manners around other dogs and humans when they’re with us, which will translate to a better-behaved furry family member at home.

We also understand that every dog is different, which is why we evaluate all pups before allowing them into our space. First, all prospective dogs must attend a Meet & Greet, which allows our qualified staff to perform a wellness check, see how the pup responds to others, assess their comfort in a naptime crate, and observe their comfort level in an open-play setting. We also make sure all dogs that stay with us are up-to-date on vaccinations and free of fleas, ticks, and any contagious diseases.

From there, we make sure to only engage your dog with furry friends of similar size and temperament. This ensures our open-play environment will provide your pup with the space and comfort they need to thrive in our center.

State of the art FACILITY

Dogtopia of Downtown Orlando’s 4,489 sq ft. facility offers three spacious indoor playrooms: the Toybox for our smaller pups, the Romper Room for medium-sized dogs that are a bit more rambunctious, and our Gym for our larger furry friends. We also have easy to sanitize compressed rubber flooring specially designed to aid in long-term joint and paw health, which helps make playtime even more enjoyable for pups. All our playrooms are separated by full walls, which helps reduce noise and distractions.

Each of our playrooms is equipped with live webcams, which allow our pet parents to peek in on their pup throughout the day. They can watch their dog play with their BFFF (Best Furry Friend Forever) easily by accessing our webcams on our website or by using our free mobile app.

As for the things you can’t see, we use HVAC systems for climate control to keep your pup at the perfect temperature during playtime and keep the air fresh and clean and circulating. We also sanitize and deep clean our playrooms multiple times a day using a biologically safe, pet-friendly cleaner. We love having pet parents tour our facility to see all the ways our canine guests’ comfort and health are our top priority.

Dogtopia of Downtown Orlando has earned certification status as a Heroes for Healthy Pets^TM facility. The Heroes for Healthy Pets^TM Certification Program in Infectious Disease Management provides training for preventative care, including strategic vaccination, and cleaning and disinfection protocols to help maintain disease-free facilities and keep pets healthy.

The program is co-sponsored by the International Boarding and Pet Services Association, National Association of Veterinary Technicians in America, Pet Sitters International, VETgirl, and Barkleigh Productions.

YOUR ONE STOP DOG SHOP

We provide half-day or full-day daycare for Orlando-based pet parents seven days a week, in addition to boarding for overnight visits or extended periods of time. We consider this a “staycation” for your dog, which is why we also offer spa treatments that can be added to daycare and boarding stays – pampering at its finest

If you’re planning to board your dog overnight or longer, we recommend bringing them to our location for a visit beforehand so they can meet our team and become comfortable in the new environment. SCHEDULING

If you want to schedule your dog for daycare, boarding or spa services, please contact us to arrange a time and date.  Before you bring your dog to stay with us for daycare or overnight, we ask that you bring them in for a meet and greet with our team so we can decide if your pup is the right fit for our play environment. This helps us assure the safety of your dog and all the other dogs in the playroom.  To help with the process, feel free to fill out our Meet & Greet form.  Also, make sure you have a copy of your latest vaccination records – we do require all dogs to be fully vaccinated before entering Dogtopia.

For boarding clients, we ask that they bring any food, medication and bedding they may have for their pup’s stay with us.  Should your pup run out of food during their stay, we can arrange to purchase more for you and add that to your invoice at the end of the visit.

You can find us at 1452 Alden Road, which is located at the intersections of Virginia and N Orange and N Mills and Princeton, Interstate 4. We are close to many Downtown Orlando highlights like Ivanhoe Village, Lake Formosa, Lake Highland, Orlando Science Center, Orlando Museum of Art, AdventHealth Orlando, and more. Parking is conveniently available for our customers at The Yard at Ivanhoe.
