Dogtopia of Lexington South is more than just a safe place for your dog to stay when you’re not able to look after them; it’s an off-leash, open-play environment that encourages exercise, education and socialization. We offer a variety of services, including daycare, overnight or extended boarding, and spa packages.

A Brand New Dog Daycare Facility
Opened in September 2017, our 6,000-square foot facility has been specially designed with your dog’s needs in mind. We sanitize our playrooms twice daily with a biologically safe cleaner, and have installed HVAC systems to keep your pup the perfect temperature during play time and nap time. We separate dogs according to their size, temperament and play style to ensure a safe and comfortable environment for your beloved pup.

Dogtopia of Lexington South has earned certification status as a Heroes for Healthy PetsTM facility. The Heroes for Healthy PetsTM Certification Program in Infectious Disease Management provides training for preventative care, including strategic vaccination, and cleaning and disinfection protocols to help maintain disease-free facilities and keep pets healthy. The program is co-sponsored by the International Boarding and Pet Services Association, National Association of Veterinary Technicians in America, Pet Sitters International, VETgirl, and Barkleigh Productions.
Webcam Access
Being separated from your dog can be hard, which is why we have webcam access in all three of our playrooms and our outdoor play area. Ease your mind by watching them play throughout the day! Access our webcams online Monday – Friday 8:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. and Saturday 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. and Sunday 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. (with the exception of the noon to 2:00 p.m. nap time).
A Trusted Team
Your dog’s safety is our top concern. Our playrooms are fully supervised by our highly trained Canine Coaches, who know how to recognize even the most subtle dog body language. Their custom curriculum has been designed by a registered animal behaviorist and has been independently approved by both the International Association of Animal Behavior Consultants (IAABC) and the Certification Council for Professional Dog Trainers (CCPDT).
Conveniently Located
We are conveniently located in Lexington’s retail and dining center on Nicholasville Centre Drive between Rojay Drive and West Tiverton Way. We offer our services for pet parents to leave their pups for a day of daycare and pampering while they shop and/or dine at Fayette Mall or The Summit.
There is ample parking available in front of the store, with easy access to Nicholasville Centre Drive from Rojay Road or West Tiverton Way.

Interested in attending Dogtopia of Lexington South? In order to keep all of our dog guests safe, we require new daycare and boarding dogs to attend a meet & greet, which includes vaccination confirmation, a health history, a nose to tail assessment, and an evaluation of your pup on our open-play environment with other dogs.
