Friends: Summer, Winnie, and each other!
Most Lovable Qualities: Winston might have had his doubts about Rosie when she was just a puppy, but they quickly became great friends who love to play together! You can often spot them side by side, with Rosie eagerly asking Winston to join in the fun!

We have carefully designed our immaculate 7,000 square foot dog daycare and boarding facility and time-tested operating practices using scientific research and the best available technology.

- Pre-enrollment evaluation process ensures all new dogs are well suited to open-play.
- Advanced UV-filtered HVAC systems keep fresh, cool air constantly circulating in our playrooms.
- Rigorous daily cleaning regimes sanitize our playrooms using safe, pet-friendly cleaning products.
- Canine Coaches must complete extensive training on dog body language and behavior, designed by a canine behaviorist on staff at our support office.
- Three large playrooms where dogs are separated by size and play temperament so your dog can play with like-minded pups.

We are committed to transparency. Every playroom at Dogtopia is equipped with a live webcam (available on our website or our user-friendly app) where you can watch your pup enjoying its most exciting day ever! Cameras are on at all times during open-play (excluding naptime from 12 – 2 PM).

Our facility is located in the heart of downtown Homewood, near the intersection of 18th Street and 28th Avenue, in the redeveloped building formerly occupied by Jim & Jim’s Body Shop. Look for our bright orange awning and sign! We are situated across the street from The Dance Foundation and between our neighbors Cahaba Cycles, Domestique Coffee and Total Respiratory. Behind us on 18th Street are Ed’s Pet World and Little Professor Bookshop, and across 18th Street is the Valley Hotel.
Located just 3 minutes from US Highway 31 and US Highway 280, we are an easy stop for commuters heading to Downtown Birmingham.
We happily serve pet parents from nearby Mountain Brook (including Crestline, Cherokee Bend, Brookwood Forest, and Crestline Park), Vestavia, and Hoover. We are a quick drive from Birmingham neighborhoods such as Five Points South, Redmont Park, Highland Park, Forest Park, Lakeview, Crestwood, and Avondale.
