The staff are mostly excellent and it’s clear that my dog loves the team members. I like the ease of scheduling in the app and having access to cameras. Considering the area, I think the pricing is fair.

However, it also feels like your team is undermanned at times, and the limited hours on weekends can be inconveniencing when trying to take a longer day trip somewhere. Plus the traffic in the area is awful. None of these things can be realistically “fixed,” but they do push me towards other options in Alexandria.

Friendly staff that cares about our dog.

Nothing noted so far but the staff made me wait on my appointment. Also, the playroom did not look like the pics on the website- no platforms or places for dogs to run up and down or separate themselves from others.

We have been going to Dogtopia for over 15 and love getting daily feedback. Our pugs always have a great experience at Dogtopia.

1. My pup smells funny when she comes home from daycare, I’m not sure what Dogtopia uses to wipe them down, but the smell is unpleasant, and several times she’s smelled like urine.
2. It is extremely inconvenient that you no longer keep a card on file. I frequently travel and need to have the pet sitter pick her up. I have had Dogtopia charge the pet sitter for extra day care days or baths because you wouldn’t accept the card you have on file. I was told that I could send a text message or email to authorize the use of my card, but both times I tried that they charged the pet sitter anyway.
3. My pup was recently involved in an “incident” with another dog, which I understand happens. I was told that neither dog was hurt, so I wasn’t overly concerned about it until I was told that I was not allowed to see the footage of what happened. This lack of transparency has caused me to have trust issues with Dogtopia that I have never had before. Thankfully she wasn’t hurt, but what if she had been, I have no faith that I would ever know what happened which leaves me extremely uneasy.

I like the staff here. Everyone is cordial, helpful, friendly, and seem to enjoy their work and providing a safe fun atmosphere for the dogs. As a first time dog owner, this has taken a load anxiety off my mind.

Staff is always friendly, helpful, and understanding. They seem to enjoy taking care of our pup, and that’s most important.

Loved the option for my dog to get a bath or nail trim while he’s here at daycare. We planned to utilize day care twice a week and also loved that I didn’t need to buy a package like most other places required. I liked that we could check the camera to see what he’s up to.
