The people who work there are so nice!

Peanut is always having a great time at Dogtopia. He comes home tired and very satisfied. Becky is doing an amazing job on his spa treatments, and all staff is always very friendly and welcoming. Highly recommend

Dogtopia felt comfortable, clean and inviting from the moment we walked in. My pet coco is very curious and not as shy. She loves people more than other pets. So, she was taken back with the trainer one-on-on for a meet & greet and a temperament assessment. She passed all the tests and they offered to keep her for the day complementary. I was able to watch her from my phone when ever I wanted to and that was super reassuring. Coco was scared at first but then her tail was up and wagging by the time I picked her up. I got 12 passes for coco to visit over the next 6 months. I am looking forward to it. It is a great place and an excellent option for us when we need a break, as well as for coco to socialize. They are firm with their vaccination policies to ensure safety of all. I am excited about being able to send coco here.

Please continue to offer daycare passes. There are often weeks where I don’t need to bring in my dog and the flexibility of having a pass–committing to a certain number of daycare spots at a better rate without locking in for every week–is so much better than having to enroll.

Skill and communication with groomers. My dog comes out looking great after every visit, and she seems to enjoy coming over as well!

I love how excited Scout is to go to daycare, and that everyone who works there seems to genuinely know each of the dogs and caters to their individual temperaments. As well, they all seem to truly love the dogs and the dogs all seem to love the staff members too.

I love the event days and getting the pictures of Scoutey having fun during a special theme day, and hearing about who he played with and what his favourite activities were. He loves his days at Dogtopia Applewood, and we love seeing his joy during those days reflected on the webcams when we tune in to see how he’s doing.

I like that you offer separate rooms for small dogs, and constant supervision. I don’t worry too much about my dog while he’s there. I enjoy using the webcams to check in on my dog throughout the day. I also enjoy the easy online booking system and online profile that allows me to update dog’s vaccination documents.

My only improvement is that I wish I felt more comfortable that if I leave instructions, they will be followed. My dog needs a break, he gets too tired and comes home severely dehydrated because he forgets to drink water with all the excitement. I wish I could count on him being given proper down time during the day. I’ve stopped asking because it never happened.

I also wish you had longer hours. Especially on Saturdays. Not everyone is a 9-5, M-F office worker. I also wish you would open a location in Collingwood, where we’ve now moved. There is a massive demand here and no proper doggie daycare, just kennels or home care with dodge people.
