The last thing you need to worry about when you’re out of town for vacation or work is if your dog is being cared for properly. Dogtopia of North Austin offers pet boarding services where we care for your best friend overnight, making sure he or she is safe, fed and loved. Our highly-trained team has a passion for dogs and will treat your pup like they’re one of their own, providing the play and attention they deserve.  If you are looking for overnight boarding for quick weekend getaway, or maybe a longer stay-cation for holidays, spring break, a summer trip, Thanksgiving, or Christmas – then Dogtopia is the place for your pup!

We’re conveniently located in The Hub retail center at the intersection of US Highway 183, Toll Way 45 and RR 620.  We are directly across from Lakeline Mall.  If you’re traveling on Highway 183, use the Lakeline Mall Drive exit to reach our facilities.

What Sets Our Dog Boarding Apart

Dogtopia knows you want your dog to be happy and safe so you can focus on your trip. We are different from other Austin doggy daycares because we don’t use crates and cages to keep your dogs locked up for hours at a time. Dogs boarded at our facility enjoy up to 10 hours of open play a day with their best furry friends!

When you choose our pet boarding facility, you can be sure your dog is being cared for by a well-trained and loving team. We do not have kennel runs, instead boarding dogs enjoy the full run of our open playrooms just like daycare dogs. Our guests enjoy accommodations in comfortable home-style crates suited to their size during naptime and overnight stays.  Staying in a new environment can be stressful for a dog, which is why many owners choose to board their dogs in the same room they play in.  Others feel their pets would do better in a private suite to give their pup more room to stretch out at night, or if they would like to board siblings together in one place. We are able to accommodate both needs.

We encourage our customers to bring blankets, pillows, towels or even old t-shirts – items that would make their dog feel at home. If your dog gets home sick or suffers from separation anxiety, having something familiar will be a comfort and help to alleviate this feeling.

Maintaining their diet is also important, so we require bringing your pup’s regular food. We do not offer house food for pups staying with us.  Should your pup run out of food during their stay – don’t worry!  We’ll give you a call to let you know and one of our team members will purchase additional food for your pup that can be added to your invoice at checkout. Our team will also administer any medication your dog has been prescribed for free as well (but we do not handle injections).

Dogs are very social animals, which is why we ask that you drop your dog off before 5 pm if they are going to spend the night. This gives them the chance to play with the other dogs and get acquainted with our facility before bedtime.

Worried about how your dog is doing? There’s a way you can find out. We offer webcam access so you can watch your dog throughout the day using a desktop or mobile device from anywhere in the world!

Supervised Safety

The team at Dogtopia of North Austin is dedicated to providing our four-legged guests with a safe and fun environment. We ask that you bring your dog to our location prior to their stay so our team can meet your dog and get to know them. This will help us determine whether our open play environment is the right fit for them.

We also require that all daycare and boarding dogs are current on their vaccinations. We don’t want you to worry about illness or aggressive dogs, which is why our staff is trained and certified in dog body language and in socializing dogs. In addition, we never admit a dog with fleas or communicable diseases.

Please remember to bring any medication your dog may be taking presently.

Spa Services

You know how great it feels to enjoy a day being pampered at a spa! Why not give your dog the same luxurious treatment? We offer spa packages as part of our overnight and weekend boarding packages. Your pup will be clean, clipped and bathed when you pick them up.

There’s so much more to our spa services than just baths; your dog can receive a five-star treatment that includes teeth brushing, nail trim, ear cleaning and brush-outs. We always make sure your dog is comfortable before we begin any spa service.
