Dogtopia of Austin Owner Stefani Ballard has had a passion for animals all her life. After obtaining a Bachelor of Business degree from Texas State University she enjoyed her career as a media buyer in the advertising industry, but always had the desire to own and run her own business. Stefani has always been an avid dog lover and as a girl hoped to one day become a veterinarian.
After losing her first furry family member, she decided she didn’t have the heart for it and decided to pursue Business Management. She came across Dogtopia while researching business opportunities online and decided that Dogtopia was the perfect fit for her entrepreneurial spirit and as an added bonus would give her the chance to work with dogs!
Dogtopia of Austin is a true family venture as Stefani’s father, Steve, is a partner in the business. Her husband Craig is our General Manager and you can often see their daughter’s Olive and Sofie visiting Dogtopia from time to time admiring the doggies as they come and go.
Stefani, Craig, and their daughters reside in Bee Cave, TX with their pug, Lili. Stefani loves spending time with her friends and family, both two and four-legged, and either relaxing at home or exploring the great outdoors.
Craig has been with Dogtopia since 2009. He is first aid trained and CPR certified. Craig enjoys spending time with his family, fly fishing and chasing around the family dogs!
