Everyone REALLY loves dogs. It is not just a job.
The place is immaculate. Our 14 lb dog almost drags me to the door. She loves the staff as much as her play pals,
Sophie, our dog, has never been sociable and more comfortable than ever! She gets so excited every single time we take her in.
Love this place!!!
Friendly staff. Obvious they love the dogs. My two come back safe and sound. Plenty of dogs for my two to play with.
Friendly service and I know my dog is safe and well cared for. Love the webcams to see how he’s doing too.

It makes me feel good to know the front desk staff know my dogs and generally get excited when my dogs arrive for daycare or boarding.
I would like to get to know ALL of the staff that care for my dogs and I would like for management to make a concerted effort to get to know me as the pet parent of two dogs who generally visit Dogtopia Birmingham for long stays.
The last thing I would like to see an improvement on is spa services specifically the bath. When I pick up my dogs from a long stay and I request a bath I typically receive them with smell of loud perfume and a slight communal dog stench. I think this can be easily resolved by making sure the dogs to receive a full head to tail bath with non-perfume oatmeal dog shampoo and limit the cross contamination of clean and dirty areas from the bath to the owner.
