Paw Pumpkin Pie

Ingredients:

  • 1 small carrot
  • 1 small apple
  • 1/4 cup of plain canned pumpkin

Instructions:

  1. Cut the apple into cubes, half of the width of the KONG opening.
  2. Grate the carrot.
  3. Mix the apple cubes, grated carrot, and pumpkin puree in a mixing bowl.
  4. Stuff into your KONG.
  5. Freeze for a longer lasting treat!

Apple Cheddar Pupcakes

Ingredients:

  • 1/2 cup of shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup of unsweetened applesauce
  • 1/4 cup of diced apple
  • 1/2 cup of rolled oats
  • 2 tbsp of honey

Instructions:

  1. Mix all the ingredients together in a bowl.
  2. Split mixture between KONGs.
  3. Freeze for a greater challenge.

Peanut Pumpkin Pupsicle

Ingredients:

  • 1/2 cup plain canned pumpkin
  • 2 tbsp peanut butter (xylitol-free)
  • 1/4 cup unsweetened applesauce
  • A handful of dog treats or kibble

Instructions:

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine the pumpkin, peanut butter, and applesauce until you have a smooth mixture.
  2. Spoon a layer of the mixture into a KONG.
  3. Drop in a few dog treats or kibble, distributing them throughout.
  4. Add another layer of the pumpkin-peanut butter mix.
  5. Continue layering until the KONG is filled.
  6. Freeze the stuffed KONG for extended playtime!

While these treats are made with dog-friendly ingredients, they should be given in moderation as part of a balanced diet. Always consult with your veterinarian before introducing new foods to your dog’s diet, especially if your pup has any health concerns or dietary restrictions.
