Sailor is our 2nd sponsored Service Dog for a Veteran through our Dogtopia Foundation partnership with Paws Assisting Veterans (PAVE).

We started raising funds for our 2nd Service Dog in in March of 2022 with dedicated daycare events and fundraisers to reach our goal. It was challenging at times but our Pet Parents and Dogtopia Foundation supporters stepped up to help us reach our goal of $6,000 by June of 2022.

We selected PAVE as our partner based on their mission committed to reducing this devastating statistic and helping Veterans to live a fulfilled life with the support of their PAVE service dog. PAVE provides service dogs free of charge to their Veterans, as well as lifetime support for their Veterans and service dogs.

We were assigned Sailor in November 2022  and they have been in training for roughly four months. PAVE shared Sailor’s progress and many stages of his training!
