Join us for our 3rd annual Halloween Trunk or Treat & Doggy Costume Contest event on Sunday, October 16th from 1PM-4PM! The event will be held in Dogtopia of Columbus-Downtown’s COVERED parking garage at 406 E Main St, making it a great rain or shine event! Come out and enjoy this super fun event, all while supporting an amazing local rescue — Speak for the Unspoken. They specialize in caring for special needs pups such as blind and deaf dogs. 100% of all proceeds will go to Speak for the Unspoken.
Pups will get to Trick or Treat around the event to several different themed trunks and get yummy treats and enjoy lots of photo ops! There will be several vendors with dog-related goods such a treats and accessories, and all businesses are local! There will be food for humans available to purchase as well. The main event, our Doggy Costume Contest will take place at 2PM, and we will have several great prizes, with some valued over $500! Feel free to come dressed with your pup as well! The Doggy Costume Contest categories are: Most Adorable, Funniest Costume, Best Pair (dog and dog or dog and human), Most Creative and Best in Show! Our Best in Show Prize is valued at $500+ and the other 4 are valued at $100+!
Tickets for admission are $5, and an extra $2 for your pup to enter the costume contest. A donation of $10 or more will get you a goody bag full of dog-related goods and coupons (Goody bags are limited availability and will be given on a first come, first serve basis).
