Meet the Team
Erika Melton, General Manager
Erika has been part of the Dogtopia team since February 2024, when she started as our Pet Parent Relationship Manager. She’s called Columbus home for the past 8 years and is a dog person turned cat mom to a 3-year-old orange tabby named Colby! She’s been in the pet industry for over 5 years and has always had a passion for animals and people. She’s committed to providing a safe, loving, and fun-filled environment for your pups, and looks forward to serving you as our General Manager!
Josie Topping, Assistant Manager
Josie has been part of Dogtopia for 2 years, where she first started as a Canine Coach. She’s lived in Columbus her whole life and has 3 dogs and 2 cats. She has a special interest in digital pet portraits! She’s here to ensure your pups have a great experience, as she loves helping make each day the most exciting day EVER!
Kaelyn Smith, Pet Parent Relationship Manager
Kaelyn is a 2024 college graduate from Marietta College with a BA in Marketing and a minor in Psychology. She grew up in West Virginia and after college moved to Columbus to be closer to family again. Growing up she was around dogs all the time and has loved them her whole life. She has a passion for making our furry friends’ lives as amazing as possible when they’re with us!
