Meet the Team
Jeff and Amie Swaddling, Owners
Jeff and Amie Swaddling grew up in Columbus and were high school sweethearts. They both moved to Chicago for college where Jeff attended Northwestern University and Amie attended Lake Forest College. Shortly after graduate school and upon starting a family, Jeff and Amie moved back to their hometown to raise their children and to be closer to their extended family in Central Ohio. They’ve been happily married for twenty-five years and they currently live in Dublin, Ohio, with their eleven children, and two pups – a six-year-old Boxer, Bella, and a three-year-old Boxer, Charlie. In their free time, Jeff and Amie can be found spending time together with family and friends, sharing their passion for fostering and adoption, serving in their church, and loving on others in the community through a variety of local area ministries. They are excited to be able to love on your pups and to also bring awareness to the causes they support through the Dogtopia Foundation.
David Swaddling, General Manager
David is a Columbus native and lives in Dublin with his pup Penny – a 9-month-old mixed-breed rescue. David is a dog lover and a graduate of Miami (OH) University with a major in business and communications. He enjoys spending time with his family and friends and pups, being outside, exercising, art, beach vacations, and volunteering his time to love on dogs at the local shelter.
Matthew Swaddling, Operations Manager
Matthew is a Columbus native and currently lives in Dublin, Ohio. Matthew is a dog lover and a recent graduate of Worthington Christian High School. Matthew loves spending time with his family and friends (and pups!), working out, bowling, church activities and serving others. He plans to attend The Ohio State University, where he would like to study law and business.
Katie Swaddling, Front of House Manager
Katie is a Columbus native and currently live in Dublin, Ohio. Katie is a dog lover and values the privilege of working with family everyday. Katie is currently a senior at The Ohio State University and is studying Nursing. Katie is currently engaged to her high school sweetheart Shaeffer, and they are both looking forward to their upcoming wedding in June. In her free time Katie enjoys spending time with family, climbing, reading, and hiking.
Allie Swaddling, Front of House Manager
Allie is a Columbus native and currently lives in Dublin, Ohio. Allie is a dog lover and plans to take a gap year before attending college. Allie loves spending time with her family and friends (and pups!), working out, reading, shopping, church activities and serving others. She plans to attend The Ohio State University.
Alex Eaton, Dog Trainer and Behaviorist
Alex is a certified professional dog trainer. He received his certification through Animal Behavior College and graduated with honors. He has also helped train service dogs for Canine Companions for Independence. He has been working with dogs for over 15 years. He is primarily a positive reinforcement trainer. He has worked with almost every type of dog and unwanted behavior. He immerses families fully in the training process and use dog psychology to more effectively teach each dog. He finds that owners end up learning as much, if not more, than their pets. He loves helping families improve their relationship with their dogs so both human and dog can live happily together! http://ootwdogtraining.com/
