Love your staff, mostly all very friendly (exception of one I have experienced). My dog seems very happy going to Dogtopia. I appreciate the fact you can do under 5 hours for a different price, and the option of the lower prices on the weekend. I also think your groomer is amazing. And love your app.

I’ve had a great experience with dogtopia! I’ve taken my dog to both the Kitchener and Coquitlam locations and had fantastic experience at both. The only thing I would suggest for the Coquitlam location (only based on comparison to Kitchener location) is to add in a spot with fake grass/fire hydrant for dogs to go pee as it mirrors going pee outside for them.

So far Dogtopia has been good. The one thing that felt like a money grab was the assessment. I understand it’s a necessity, however there shouldn’t be a charge. My dog and I were there for 30 mins and we were told he passed but was too timid to stay the day. I was still charge $25 eventhough in the numerous emails I received it mentioned the $25 included 5 hours of care. When I came back the next day, I was charged an additional $30 for a half day of play. When I questioned the fact that I had already paid $25 the day prior, I was told that’s only for the assessment and I would have had to use the 5 hours of daycare that day. That isn’t mentioned in any of the emails and it was under the advice of Dogtopia staff to not stay after the assessment. It would be helpful to either be more clear or honour the 5 hours of daycare at the $25 price.
