SALES ASSOCIATE

Dogtopia, the industry leader in dog daycare, boarding, and spa services has an immediate opening in Decatur for an energetic, organized, business-minded individual to lead our sales effort. This is a role for someone with a proven ability to create and manage multiple lead generation efforts and close a sale – passes and memberships.

THE PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITY OF THE LEAD SALES ASSOCIATE IS TO GROW THE NUMBER OF DOGS IN DAYCARE

  • Fully understand the daycare and boarding model
  • Achieve agreed upon sales targets and outcomes within schedule
  • Fully understand and be able to effectively explain the benefits of our services
  • Sell memberships to new pet parents
  • Convert generated leads to a Meet and Greet at the Center
  • Convert the Meet & Greets to a membership sale
  • Conduct the 11 Stop Tour of the store to prospective pet parents at the Meet & Greet.
  • Manage the communications between prospective leads and the Store.
  • Use a CRM system to manage the Sales Process from a Lead to a Client.
  • Comfort on the phone, email or through text when communicating with Clients
  • Handle client related issues with professionalism.
  • Manage the Check In and Check Out of Dogs in Daycare for the day.
  • Administrative tasks to keep the operations in BOH organized for the day.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Proven work experience in sales, specifically membership sales.
  • Highly motivated and target driven with a proven track record in sales
  • Exceptional Customer Service skills
  • Excellent selling, communication and negotiation skills
  • Comfortable following a sales process and able to make calls, manage a CRM as well as communicate with clients throughout the day.
  • Prioritizing, time management and organizational skills
  • Relationship management skills and openness to feedback
  • Great energy and passion for what you’re doing!
