Duties:
– Supervise and monitor dogs in play areas to ensure safe and positive interactions
– Provide food, water, and medication as directed by pet owners
– Engage in playtime activities with dogs to promote exercise and socialization
– Maintain cleanliness of daycare areas including cleaning up waste and sanitizing surfaces
– Assist in grooming tasks such as brushing, bathing, and nail trimming
– Implement basic training techniques to reinforce good behavior
– Communicate effectively with pet owners regarding their dog’s well-being
– Handle dogs of various sizes and temperaments with care and confidence

Qualifications:
– Previous experience in a related field such as veterinary technician, pet care, veterinary assistant, animal care, or dog handling preferred
– Ability to perform heavy lifting when necessary to handle larger dogs or move supplies
– Knowledge of pet sitting practices including feeding schedules and medication administration
– Familiarity with basic pet grooming techniques is a plus
– Strong customer service skills to interact professionally with pet owners
– Understanding of dog training principles to encourage positive behavior
