Downtown Evanston Reviews
900 Clark St, Suite 900, Evanston, Illinois 60201
Friendly and nice people that like taking care of dogs.
I like the webcams to check in on my pup.
The “freeze” policy for weekly members is incredibly frustrating and makes me feel like I’m being swindled. The fact that you charge $10 to not bring your dog one week is really an awful policy.
Easy pick up and drop off
Friendly staff. I feel like they care about my dog.
I like the spa option while my dog is there for daycare. I use boarding. Great to be able to board my dog at a familiar place with people he is comfortable with.
The Meet & Greet process felt very comprehensive when it came to evaluating my dogs initial visit.
The Dogtopia staff members have become an extension of our family. Their compassion and love for Teddy and Archie is felt every day. At the same time they are professional and very knowledgeable. They have supported my husband and I as we deal with the challenges of end of life decisions for our aging parents. We know that Teddy and Archie are well taken care of and loved.
Very helpful staff
Clean and safe environment for my dog
Staff take good care of the dogs
Consistently professional and friendly staff at the front drop-off, Sarah who comes out from her office to say hello, and the staff from the dog rooms who retrieve the dogs, know the dogs by name “Hi Buster!!” and greet both the dog and the owner. Seems like everyone there is invested a positive experience for both the dog and the owner
Transparency, safety, staff is awesome — I tried another daycare and it was terrible. Poor Phoenix was so stressed out from the day he hardly recognized me when I picked him up and he threw all of his food up before I even got home. Their “evaluation” was to put a dog into a room with all dogs and see if it works. No real oversight.
Dogtopia checks all the boxes for me as a first time daycare user. Never needed to, but my new poodle, Phoenix, was rehomed by his breeder when his owner fell ill and we found out he was kept outside the home, generally, with 2 other larger dogs and doggie doors. Lots of adjusting for him and me, as I just lost my last poodle at 16.5 years.
Has only finished Day 2, but yesterday looked like he was more relaxed, running, and comfortable when I picked him up.
Thank you.
It is run well.
The staff is competent and responsive.
Boarding is an option.
