Dogtopia of Eau Claire is committed to making your pup feel at home and as happy as possible during their time with us. Unlike most dog boarding facilities in Wisconsin, we provide all overnight guests with up to 10 hours a day of play and socialization, both indoors and outdoors, weather permitting. When your pup turns in for the night, they will be tired, happy, and ready to do it all again the next day!
Our doggie guests enjoy quality accommodations in our comfortable, home-style crates during naptime and overnight stays. Our crates are very comforting and familiar to pups, allowing our overnight doggie guests to have their own private space while still being close to the rest of the pack and their BFFFs (Best Furry Friends Forever). You can feel good knowing that during your dog’s stay with us, they are only in the crate during naptime and overnight. When they’re not resting, they’re socializing and getting plenty of exercise!
To make your pup’s stay as comfortable as possible, we encourage pet parents to bring their dog’s blanket from home. This will have a familiar smell and help with any possible homesickness or separation anxiety.
It’s very important to maintain your dog’s regular diet, which is why we recommend bringing your pup’s regular food. However, we also have premium dog food available if you prefer. Is your dog on a medication schedule? Let our team know, and we will accommodate it accordingly.
Dogtopia of Eau Claire is a 7,000-square-foot facility that boasts four separate, spacious playrooms, including a secure outdoor play area. To help pups feel at ease in our dog wellness center and encourage socialization, we separate them into our supervised playrooms according to their size, temperament, and playstyle to help ensure a safe play environment for all our beloved doggie guests. Each playroom has compressed rubberized flooring for extra comfort on paw pads, soundproof floor-to-ceiling walls to create separation between rooms, double-barrier doors that create separation from our main hallway for extra protection, and advanced HVAC systems that maintain fresh, sanitized air throughout our facility.
OUR BOARDING SCHEDULE
Overnight doggie guests enjoy 8-10 hours of playtime during the day with their furry pals and certified Canine Coaches. They can participate in our agility-focused activities, mind-stimulating brain games, and socialization training, all of which benefit their physical, mental, and emotional wellbeing.
At noon, pups wind down from a morning of play in their home-style crates as we serve them lunch and allow them to nap. At 2 p.m., they’re back to playing, exercising, learning, and socializing. We also offer events for our boarding pups, like movie and game nights, that offer mental stimulation and extra time with their BFFFs (Best Furry Friends Forever). At the end of a day, pups settle in for a good night’s sleep.

GET TO KNOW OUR CANINE COACHES
Our team of Canine Coaches supervises dogs in our playrooms while encouraging safe play, active participation, and tail-wagging good times. Each Coach at Dogtopia of Eau Claire has passed a rigorous four-part training curriculum, approved for continuing education credits by the International Association of Animal Behavior Consultants and the Certification Council for Professional Dog Trainers. Equipped with the skills needed to interact with dogs of all breeds, our Coaches help create a safe, supportive environment.
WEBCAM ACCESS
You may be away from your pup, but you can still see what they are up to with our live webcam access. This allows pet parents to check in on their dogs during the day using a desktop or mobile device. Put your mind at ease by watching them as they make new friends and burn off pent-up energy in our supervised playrooms.
ADD A SPA SERVICE
Look forward to picking up a clean, fresh-smelling pup by adding a spa service to their boarding stay. We offer spa packages, which now include grooming, as part of our overnight and long-term boarding packages that will leave your pup clean, clipped, and pampered when you pick them up.
passing our initial meet & greet assessment
To maintain a safe space for all our furry friends, each dog must pass Dogtopia’s Meet & Greet assessment before staying at our facility. This all-day appointment is run by our team of evaluators. We’ll first perform a health history overview and nose-to-tail check. Next, we’ll take your pup on a daycare test drive, which includes creating a mini play space with like-minded dogs. We will observe how well each dog plays with each other and note any areas that could be improved upon. Our team will then inform you if your pup is a good fit for our open-play, off-leash facility.
BOOK YOUR DOG’S BOARDING
We are dedicated to the safety of all our doggie guests. We require all pups to be at least 12 weeks old, up to date on vaccinations, spayed or neutered if seven months and older, free of fleas and any contagious diseases, and non-aggressive or food- and toy-protective.
If your pup does not visit Dogtopia regularly for daycare, we recommend a couple of days at daycare prior to their boarding stay. This helps them get familiar with the playroom, other dogs, and the staff, but most importantly, it teaches your pup that Dogtopia is a fun, temporary place to stay and that you will always come back to pick them up and take them home.
