Dog Daycare, Boarding, Grooming and More

Our daycare provides dog owners with a safe and fun place to leave their pet for the day, while our boarding provides a secure and comfortable place for overnight stays. Our off-leash facility is equipped with three spacious, fully supervised playrooms and a large outdoor play area. We separate dogs according to their size, temperament and play style.

If your pup is getting to be a bit smelly, we also offer a full range of spa services as a part of our daycare and boarding packages. Our groomers have extensive experience working with all breeds of dogs. In addition to the basics, we also offer a number of luxurious spa treatments such as flea and tick treatments, nail dremeling, de-shedding and more.

State-of-the Art Facility

Dogtopia of Elsmere has three indoor playrooms offering a total of 6400 square feet of play space with specialized rubber flooring that’s designed to be easy on dogs’ paws and joints. Each of our playrooms is equipped with webcams, allowing you to check in on our pup throughout the day and see what a fun time they are having. Our playrooms are fully supervised by our highly trained team.

Our lobby features a wide variety of luxury/specialty dog products for sale, from Warren London Spa Supplies to Soggy Doggy dog beds to Amici Pet premium bully chews. We stock our doggy boutique with unique retail items; why opt for average, boring nylon leashes when you could have a leopard print leash and harness or collar combo from MimiGreen?

We are conveniently located at the intersection of Kirkwood Highway (Route 2) and Dupont Road (Route 100) next to Angerstein’s Building Supply & Design Center. Our facility is just one mile east of Delaware VA hospital on Route 2. There’s ample parking available at the front of our building.

Dogtopia of Elsmere has earned certification status as a Heroes for Healthy Pets^TM facility. The Heroes for Healthy Pets^TM Certification Program in Infectious Disease Management provides training for preventative care, including strategic vaccination, and cleaning and disinfection protocols to help maintain disease-free facilities and keep pets healthy.

The program is co-sponsored by the International Boarding and Pet Services Association, National Association of Veterinary Technicians in America, Pet Sitters International, VETgirl, and Barkleigh Productions.

Scheduling

If you want to schedule your dog for daycare, boarding or spa services, please contact us to arrange a time and date.  Before you bring your dog to stay overnight, we ask that you bring them in for a meet and greet with our team so we can decide if your pup is the right fit for our play environment. For daycare and boarding clients, we ask that they bring any food, medication and bedding they may have.
