So, what are we looking for in a Dogtopia franchisee?  While dog-related experience is not required, the ideal candidate should have an entrepreneurial spirit, with the ability to follow and execute Dogtopia systems.

1. COMPLETE “INFORMATION REQUEST FORM”

Please complete our Information Request Form to receive additional information. A Dogtopia representative will be in touch with you within one business day.

2. INTRODUCTORY QUALIFYING CALL

During your first call, you will further discuss the Dogtopia opportunity and cover a few key topics, including your motivation, business background, and territory of interest. They will be happy to answer any additional questions you have.

3. FINANCIAL QUALIFICATION AND LOAN APPROVAL

Approval is based upon your current financial circumstances and initial verbal confirmation of liquid capital available to proceed with the venture

4. RETURN YOUR CONFIDENTIAL PROFILE

Returning your profile to your representative tells us that you are serious about the opportunity and it gives us a clear picture of your financial and managerial plans.

5. RECEIVE FRANCHISE DISCLOSURE DOCUMENT (FDD)

Upon receipt of your confidential financial profile; you will receive our Franchise Disclosure Document. The FDD further defines the relationship between us – the Franchisor and you – the Franchisee. It contains all of the legal responsibilities involved in owning a Dogtopia and it is what you will sign in order to become a Franchisee.

6. FDD FOLLOW-UP

After receiving and reviewing your FDD, your representative will schedule a time to go over any questions that you may have.

7. DISCOVERY DAY!

Held in Phoenix, AZ. You will also spend an entire day meeting with the Canadian and the Dogtopia Support Office Leadership Team, who drives the culture and strategic direction of our brand.

8. SIGNING THE AGREEMENT

If we both feel it is a mutual fit, we will award a franchisee agreement and prepare a formal written offer.
