Our brand-new, 5,500 sq ft. facility was designed to meet your pup’s needs. We have three spacious playrooms and a large, 1,000 sq ft. outdoor play area. Rain or shine, we have your pup’s playtime covered.

We separate our daycare dogs based on size, temperament, and play personality to ensure maximum comfort for all in our care. Each pup can be their best doggie selves as they play with like-minded furry friends. Our larger, more mature dogs are a great fit for our Gym playroom, medium-sized dogs with a bit more playtime energy will enjoy our Romper Room, and smaller pups under 35 lbs will thrive in our Toy Box.

Our playrooms offer many benefits for dogs, including the opportunity for them to socialize. Dogs are highly social and, just like humans, can benefit from being around one another. Being around other pups allows them to develop social skills, experience different environments, and stay active. This benefits their overall health, wellness, and quality of life. Our facility is the ideal space for safe, fun, and supervised socialization that supports their natural pack instinct, which is not always a given in spaces like a busy dog park that hosts different play personalities.

Another benefit to our indoor playrooms is that we can create a climate-controlled environment for pups no matter the weather outside thanks to our HVAC systems, which also keep the air fresh and circulating. We also incorporate some outside time in our secure outdoor area during nice weather. To maintain safety, we coordinate which pups go out so your dog remains in the same group they are used to playing with.

When constructing our facility, we purposely selected various materials that would support our daycare dogs’ safety and wellness. In our playrooms, the flooring is made out of a compressed rubberized material that supports the hips, joints, and paws of our playing pups, while we separate each playroom using full walls to help contain and prevent airborne doggie viruses.

For our boarding pups, we have comfortable home-style crates and private suite options to spend the night in, along with 24-hour alarm monitoring that alerts us of any outside movement or temperature changes. And for our full-service spa, we have spacious bathtubs, dog-safe shampoo and conditioner for any skin type and coat, and state-of-the-art equipment that makes treatments like nail clipping, ear cleaning, and teeth brushing a comfortable experience.

Our highly trained Canine Coaches are in each playroom supervising all of our playing pups, and while they ensure everyone is having tail-wagging fun, they are also there to encourage socialization, run our agility and brain games, prepare food in our facility’s well-stocked kitchen, create tasty treats for our dogs, administer any needed medicine, provide play breaks to any pup that may need it, prepare boarding pups for sleep, and more. Experts in dog body language and managing dogs of all sizes and breeds, our Coaches can notice small changes in behavior and respond accordingly with care. Since our Canine Coaches are around your pup throughout the day, they can also provide insight into how your dog behaved, who they made friends with, and how they responded to staff in our periodic report cards provided to pet parents. If your dog regularly attends daycare, we can also provide tips on replicating our basic training and techniques at home.

MEET & GREET AT DOGTOPIA OF FULSHEAR – KATY

One of the initial steps we take to ensure our facility remains safe is our Meet & Greet assessment. Before any dog can spend the day with us, our trained evaluators must ensure that our off-leash, open-play environment is a good fit. To determine this, our team will set up a controlled mini-play space with some furry friends to observe how your pup interacts with other dogs and our staff. We will also check how comfortable they are in our home-style crates, where daycare dogs nap during the day and most boarding pups sleep at night.

To maintain a healthy environment, our expert team will also use this time to perform a snout-to-tail evaluation and check your dog’s health history. To keep everyone safe and healthy, all dogs that enter our facility must be 12 weeks old and up-to-date on their vaccinations (i.e., Rabies, Bordetella, DHLPP/DHPP, etc.), while those seven months and older must be spayed or neutered.

The entire process is straightforward and helps make our space feel more familiar to your pup, increasing their comfort level within our playrooms, staff, and other dogs. We also want this time to be a positive experience for you. Our knowledgeable team will answer any of your questions about our services and give you a tour of our facility, as we want you to feel assured that your pup is in a loving, supportive space.

While your pup is having fun learning, playing, and staying active in our playrooms, pet parents can virtually join in on the excitement. No matter where you are, you can access our playrooms’ private live streams via our website and free mobile app for Apple and Android.

For an additional level of safety and security, our management team has equipped cameras in our facility to watch all areas of the building during all hours.
