This October 28th marks the 10 year anniversary of National Pitbull Awareness Day, which is a day of appreciation and education designed to change perceptions and stereotypes about pit bulls and their responsible owners. NPBAD was established to educate and foster positive communications and experiences in the communities in which we and our dogs live, and it is an initiative dedicated to restoring the image of the American Pit Bull Terrier. NPBAD is the heart of the National Pit Bull Awareness Campaign, an effort to change minds and opinions about pit bulls not just one day a year, but everyday! Here at Dogtopia, we never discriminate against any breed and believe all dogs should have a fair chance to romp around and play, make new friends, and get the love that they deserve!
