We love dogs of all colors. Black, tan, white, patched, brindled, marbled. But there’s something special — classic, even — about a jet-black pooch that sets them apart from the pack. However, did you know that black dogs are less likely to be adopted for no other reason than their coloring?! Regardless of behavior, size, breed, personality, or age, the phenomenon persists. We think this is ABSURD! These beautiful, shiny pups offer just as much unconditional love as any other dog, and they deserve just as much love back! Join us on Thursday, October 1st to celebrate our dark coated friends and help bring awareness to this issue. We’ll be taking lots of photos to prove that black dogs DO photograph well!
