Dogtopia of Atascocita
Houston pet parents, welcome to the newest dog destination for daycare, boarding, and spa services. Our brand-new facility in the Humble, Texas, suburb of Atascocita provides an off-leash, open-play environment for dogs to enjoy safe and fun socialization, education, and exercise.
When you enroll your furry family member in daycare at our location, they can expect the Most Exciting Day Ever as they grow their pup pack with new BFFFs (Best Furry Friends Forever) and engage in brain games and agility-focused exercises that will keep their mind and body active. To encourage positive play, we group like-minded dogs together in our spacious playrooms, which not only allows them to be their best doggie selves, but it also offers our pet parents reassurance that their pup is spending their day with other furry friends that share their play style and temperament.
For dogs to grow into well-rounded canine citizens, they need to safely socialize with their own species. That is why daycare at Dogtopia of Atascocita can be a great outlet for them to run around, play, and burn that built-up energy in a space that prioritizes their health and safety.

TOP DOG DAYCARE SERVICES AND MORE IN HARRIS COUNTY, TX
Team Lovins is excited to welcome you to Dogtopia of Atascocita—a newly constructed, modern facility that offers 6500 sq. ft. of open play for your pup to explore. We have three climate-controlled playrooms that provide a consistent play experience, so whether there’s a sweltering heatwave or a sky full of rain clouds, your dog can still get 8–10 hours of play during a full day at daycare in a space they’ll feel comfortable in.
The Toybox playroom is for smaller breeds, such as Maltese and Boston Terriers, allowing them to enjoy daycare activities in comfort without being intimidated by larger dogs like overenthusiastic Golden Retrievers. Our Romper Room is reserved for high-energy teens and toddlers like Goldendoodles, Huskies, and Weimaraners. These dogs play from the moment they walk in until the moment they leave, making the space ideal for more active pups. Lastly, our Gym playroom is where you will find the bigger dogs, such as Great Danes and Bernese Mountain Dogs, or the older Labradors that are taking a break from home where a new puppy has been wearing them out. Dogs in this playroom are best at understanding body language, and while they still may have some energy to spend, they prefer the calmness of the Gym to our other play areas.
Each of our playrooms is an instant boredom fighter, as there are always dogs to play with. This keeps energy levels high throughout the day as they engage in activities and socialize with their furry friends. By the time you come to pick them up, they will be a happy, played-out pup who can’t wait for their next visit. Scheduling time in your dog’s day for exercise can ward off health issues like obesity and cardiovascular concerns and help them live a full life. While daycare can’t replace the love and attention pet parents give their dogs, it’s a great way to add supplemental exercise and provide routine and structure.
Dogs who arrive for daycare can choose from our half- or full-day pay-per-play options or select one of our weekly wellness plans that offer a more consistent daycare schedule with some added perks. Boarding dogs staying overnight or for an extended amount of time with us will automatically get to enjoy a full day of daycare, and pet parents can select from either enrolled or non-enrolled options; our enrolled dogs receive priority reservations for overnight stays. Meanwhile, if your pup is in need of some relaxation or requires some doggie maintenance like a nail trim, our spa services are available at any point of daycare and for standalone visits.
Throughout the day, all of our dogs at Dogtopia of Atascocita engage with our expert team of Canine Coaches who provide supervision in each playroom. They encourage play and socialization and facilitate brain and agility games to keep your pup’s tail wagging. Highly trained in doggie body language, our coaches can detect any slight change in behavior or mood and respond in a swift, calm manner. This means that if any dog needs to take a break at any point in the day, our Canine Coaches are there to detect and provide it at the exact moment. Since they undergo multi-stage training before ever interacting with dogs, our pet parents can rest assured that their dog is in qualified hands.
We are also all dog lovers here, so we treat all of our pups like members of our own family! Because our Canine Coaches are spending hours with our daycare dogs, they get to know them extremely well, allowing them to provide pet parents with periodic report cards that outline the dog’s behavior during the day, who they made friends with, tips and tricks to replicate positive behavior taught in daycare at home, and other fun tidbits.
WEBCAM ACCESS FOR PET PARENTS
To catch all of the playtime cuteness, our pet parents can access our webcams that are equipped in each playroom. During playtime hours from open to close, you can access our private stream while you are at work, in a lecture, on vacation, or from your couch! The only time they go off is between 12 and 2 p.m., as this is when they are eating lunch and napping, and overnight since your dog won’t be doing anything other than catching some Zs. All of our webcams are monitored by our staff during this time to prevent any brave escape artists. We also have motion sensors in each playroom.

EXPERT DOG SAFETY AND CLEANING PROTOCOLS
Your dog’s health and safety are a top priority at our facility. Since this is your pup’s home away from home, we keep our playrooms clean and tidy at all times so that their playtime and sleeping environments are always fresh. When we designed our space, we installed compressed rubberized flooring in each playroom, which is ideal for the long-term bone, hip, and paw health of dogs, especially when compared to the cement floors that other dog daycares use. We also separated our playrooms with full walls to keep our pups focused on each other, minimize distractions, and prevent and contain any doggie airborne viruses.
We also equipped UV-filtered HVAC systems in each playroom to remove bacteria, promote air circulation, and provide a climate-controlled setting that ensures playtime is always comfortable. Throughout the day, our playrooms get sanitized using cleaning products that are safe for dogs (goodbye, harsh chemicals!) and that are backed by Dogtopia’s very own environmental biologist and veterinary scientist. These expert-supported protocols are just one of the things that makes us unique in the dog daycare industry.
Dogtopia of Atascocita has earned certification status as a Heroes for Healthy PetsTM facility. The Heroes for Healthy Pets Certification Program in Infectious Disease Management provides training for preventative care, including strategic vaccination, as well as cleaning and disinfection protocols to help maintain disease-free facilities and keep pets healthy. The program is co-sponsored by the International Boarding and Pet Services Association, National Association of Veterinary Technicians in America, Pet Sitters International, VETgirl, and Barkleigh Productions.
But before any dog enters Dogtopia of Atascocita, they must pass our Meet & Greet. This is a thorough evaluation led by our trained evaluators to determine if our open-play, off-leash environment is a good fit for your pup. This will typically only take 20–30 minutes, during which our team will be looking to see how your pup responds to our staff, their comfort in our homestyle creates (where they will be napping during the day or staying overnight if boarding), and how they interact with other dogs in a controlled mini-play area. We will also conduct a nose-to-tail assessment and check your pup’s health history during this time, as we want all of our pups to feel their best at daycare.
Please note that all dogs who want to visit our location must be 12 weeks and older and have an updated vaccination record (i.e., rabies, Bordetella, DHPP, etc.), while our pups seven months and older must be spayed/neutered.
