A study was done in the UK by Dr. Fiona Dowell, Amy Bowman and Professor Neil Evans, regarding how music effected stress in dogs that were kenneled. Results of the study found that classical music reduced stress in dogs that were kenneled, in addition to, soft rock and reggae music. No kidding – they spent money and time to figure out what Scruffy likes to listen to.
