Austin’s on his second day of day care and we’re happy so far! The only two things I’d say could improve are the webcams on “The City” and Outdoor, specially in regards to the former. The angle of that camera is 45% all wall.
I was excited about the webcam being available to view our furry loved one. However, the camera angles and stability needs to be improved. I frequently experienced long buffering to get on and view are pet. Some of the cameras are positioned far from where the animals are interacting, so it makes it di6to view your pet. I would be nice to have a color or name tracker on your pet to identify them in the masses. Also, I didn’t observe ANY interaction or engagement with the animals by staff. The animals would be around the “trainers” while they mopped, cleaned, or sat around. In fact, I watched one “trainer” sitting on a dog ramp on their phone (I assume listening to music) for the entire time I was viewing and didn’t look up once even when the dogs got up because something occurred at the door and peaked their interest. They were outdoors so it would have been nice to see the “trainer” playing catch or running around with the dogs to provide exercise.
Our experience with Dogtopia Galleria has been all positive. The staff has been welcoming and professional and our 15 month old lab mix loves to spend time there and runs and plays the entire time. Being able to view his happiness on the web cams is an added bonus!
