This person should love dogs – and, upon successful completion of training, you can even bring YOUR dog to work with you! What a bonus!

The Canine Coach will oversee playrooms for cleanliness, safety and fun to ensure our pets have the best day ever. The Canine Coach will engage in games, activities and maintain full oversight of the dogs in their care at all times. The Canine Coach will clean up after their assigned pets throughout the day. This position will engage in moderate amounts of dog training to redirect behavioral issues before they happen.

  • Maintain control of large groups of open play dogs in their assigned playroom.
  • Constantly interact with dogs and perform regular tasks such as giving basic commands and proactively address behavior issues.
  • Follow all cleaning procedures to maintain a clean and safe environment for dogs and people. Cleaning includes moving and sanitizing all crates, laundry, taking out the trash and cleaning walls, floors and play equipment.
  • Ability to write accurate and complete puppy report cards and daily notes with proper spelling and grammar.
  • Follow company dress code guidelines for professional and safe standards.

Education and Experience

  • Must be 18 years of age
  • Animal care services experience preferred
