We’re on the hunt for an energetic, organized, and friendly dog-lover to join our Front Desk Team at Dogtopia of Milwaukee East Side as a Front Desk Coordinator.  This role will work under our General Manager and help keep Dogtopia Milwaukee running smoothly.

Though front desk experience is a plus, entry-level candidates are welcome to apply. We will happily train the right person: a sunny disposition, a quick study, and an eagerness to learn go a lot farther than where you’ve worked or how fast you can type.  Will take an eager, very organized, dog lover who is willing to learn any day!

Our Front Desk Team will have the following qualifications:

  • Meticulous organization, attention to detail, and time management skills
  • Capability of quickly learning POS and CRM software
  • Consistent and timely attendance
  • A friendly and cheery attitude and loves dogs and people!
  • An ability to emotionally connect and build strong repour with Pet Parents
  • A willingness to work hard, improve, and pitch in for the team
  • Ability to maintain professionalism, order, and grace in an exceptionally fast-paced environment
  • A genuine love of dogs—an absolute necessity!!

This part-time/full time position will work afternoons and weekends, approximately 28-40 hours a week, and includes the opportunity for benefits and increased pay with strong performance. For the right person, there is a path to grow into higher positions within the organization.

Our new Front Desk Coordinator will do all the following:

  • Provide excellent customer service to our pet parents, via telephone, email, and in person
  • Check dogs in and out of daycare and boarding
  • Assist with maintaining reservations and billing
  • Contribute to a positive, team-oriented environment.
  • Communicate candidly, respectfully, and honestly with everyone in our Dogtopia family: team members, owners, support office, vendors, and pet parents alike.
