Job Functions
- Interact and engage in a multitude of activities with a playroom of dogs, including group sit, follow the leader, and playroom agility
- Monitor safe play throughout the day with dogs of various sizes
- Fast pace work environment, constantly moving
- Work with other team members to maintain a clean and safe environment
- Daily cleaning of the playroom and facility
Job Requirements
- You must be at least 17 years old
- High level of attentiveness
- Ability to be on your feet for long periods
- Responsible and reliable
- Flexible schedule including weekends and holidays
- Availability to at least two weekdays starting at 1:45pm or earlier. Unfortunately, If you aren’t available by 1:45 during the week our schedule will not work for you
- Shift times consist mostly of half day work, morning or afternoon shifts

FULL JOB DESCRIPTION
Dogtopia of Golden Valley, the industry leader in dog daycare, boarding, and spa services has an opening for an energetic, organized, professional individual to join and lead our team as a Full-time or Part-time shift leader when our store opens in April. This is a key role within our business and we work hard to deliver top customer service and ensure a great environment for the dogs in our care. Your training will take place at our current store in Bloomington prior to our opening.

Applicant must be available for shift times from 6:30am to 2pm or 12pm to 7:30pm as well as some weekends.
Administrative work
- Checking customers in/out and collecting payment
- Give tours of the facility
- Answer phone calls and emails
- Scheduling appointments in our point of sale programs
- Properly communicate information to customers
- Multitasking is critical!
Operational work
- Occasionally work and constantly monitor playrooms to maintain a safe level of play for dogs in an open play environment
- Monitor canine coaches to ensure proper protocols are being followed consistently
- Training and teaching our standards to new and existing employees
- Cleaning the playrooms, spa, and facility
