Friendly staff

Crate the dogs for 1 hour instead of 2.
Do not require vaccines that other daycares do not (influenza).

My dog, Dudley, has the best time playing there with all his friends, furry and human. Every time I tune into the Webcam, Dudley is running around smiling. The staff all know his name, and greet him every time they see him.

I love a lot of the services you offer, however there are a few things I wish were available or better. The policy to have cameras turned off during lunch/ nap time and not providing a clear understanding of why is unsettling. The gentleman who gave my tour did not have an answer. When I checked your FAQ on the website part of the reason was because the cameras don’t work when the lights are off. I can tell you that is 100% not true, as there is a room at my Brick, NJ facility currently not in use, with the lights off and the video IS available and running, only in black and white. I understand the staff needs breaks and I don’t expect to see staff in the rooms when the pups are sleeping but I’d still like visibility to feeding and my puppy is resting.
I also wish there were reports of my puppy’s activities. While I get a short verbal “your puppy did great” when picking him up, it would be helpful to receive more detail about the day. The staff is constantly roaming the room cleaning and observing. Why are they not responsible for providing feedback via an iPad or checklist through the day? Did he need a time out? Did he play well? Did he make a friend? Did he pee/poop? Was he lonely or not engaged? Did they go outside?
So far, I have not seen any organized play, or practicing commands. I think this would be beneficial especially in the toy box room where pups learning is critical during the early stages! You have a “highly trained” individual in the room but aren’t encouraging beneficial interactions with the pups? I understand their focus is on the safety of every dog in the facility and I am extremely grateful for that, but I think more could be offered throughout the day.
When I asked during my tour what is max capacity in the room, the gentleman told me 32 dogs. And when I asked how many people per dogs he said it would be 1 person to the 32 dogs. THAT IS ABSOLUTELY BANANAS! For the dog AND human’s safety!!! What is a fight breaks out? How is ONE PERSON capable of mitigating a potential disaster?

I like the fact that we can monitor our dog on video, for the prompt return of any messages we leave, & for the friendliness & attentiveness of the staff! Thank you all so much!

I love that I can look in on my dog to make sure he is okay. They also provide great services including baths and lunches that we add on to his stay making it very convenient! Everyone there is friendly and you can tell loves being with the dogs
