Several of our pet parents use our daycare services regularly and add boarding when they need to go out of town, while others use our boarding more frequently, such as every weekend or scheduled days each week when they travel for work. A TYPICAL DAY FOR OUR BOARDING PUPS
All dogs that board at Dogtopia of Mount Kisco enjoy up to 10 hours of open play with our daycare dogs and other boarding pups, as well as a 2-hour rest period midday.
Here’s what a typical day for a boarding dog looks like:
5:30 a.m. – Wake up & breakfast
7 a.m. – 12 p.m. – Play time
12 p.m. – 2 p.m. – Rest/Lunch (during this time, each of our playrooms is deep-sanitized to ensure a clean and safe return to play)
2 p.m. – 7 p.m. – Play time
10 p.m. – All boarding pups are set-up in homestyle crates for a night of restful sleep
We encourage pet parents to bring their dogs’ regular food during their stay with us so that they get the same meals here as they would at home and to make sure their digestion is not disrupted. Pet parents can also bring in a mat, blanket or towel as well as a non-squeaky toy to comfort them while they settle down for the night.
We also offer boarding suites for an additional fee. This is a more luxurious option that provides a larger space for dogs to rest and sleep in. It’s especially convenient for sibling dogs (no more than 2 dogs per suites) that are very attached to each other. With suite boarding, pet parents can also bring a larger, more padded orthopedic bed if they wish.
