Two of my furkids have attended daycare at Oakbrook. Muggsy a 10 yr old senior pug. We appreciated that he didn’t come home limping thanks to the rubberized flooring and loved the treat, craft, and picture days. Webcams are awesome! Location is easy to get to and valet service is nice too. Things at that time we felt could use attention were the human to canine interactions in the room, cots in the room for elderly/shy dogs to lie on, and more days geared to the wee group. The toybox is always pretty much a combination of small to medium dogs preventing some of the smaller or shyer dogs from coming out. Muggsy definitely found “his humans” at this location, most of the desk staff and a couple of the coaches. I noticed that as the number of dogs decreased in the afternoon that is when he became more daring and ventured out and made some furriends. I did try another Dogtopia location and saw that Muggsy tended to do better at that particular location.
Petey is the complete opposite, started as a puppy who was super energetic. He will play with any furriends that can match his energy level yet also craves human attention. I will never forget the day early on when he fell asleep on one of the coaches laps sitting on the bridge in the middle of the room. She actually let him stay there too! He could care less about sitting still. Loves hanging on the bridge, chasing his furriends, and chasing the coaches. I know they are going through a bit of a transition period right now with employees coming and going but hopefully they can get back to some normalcy soon and start running activities again. This location is one three daycares in a rotation I use (2 Dogtopias and 1 private owned). I will definitely continue to utilize this location. I would love to see some wee room ideas for the smaller dogs. The other location also does sleepover days where the employees stay a bit longer on a Friday evening to enjoy a movie with boarding dogs and some extra cuddle time. It might be nice if this location would try something like that.

Love the play time for my high energy dog. She gets to socialize with other dogs and have a full fun day of play. Everyone that works at Dogtopia is super friendly and always willing to help. My dog always comes home tired and in that dogtopia daze.
The friendliness, professionalism and gentle care they give my dog when she comes for boarding is wonderful. My dog actually gets excited when she sees that we’re going in the door.!
