THE BENEFITS OF DOGTOPIA’S DAYCARE
For many dog parents, leaving their furry family member for the first time can be a stressful experience. Dogtopia’s professionally trained team goes the extra mile to calm both dogs and their parents. We’ll care for your pup as if they’re our own and ensure they have the most exciting day ever!
Dog daycare should be more than just a place to leave your dog when you’re unable to be with them. At Dogtopia, we treat your pup to fun-filled days of socializing with other dogs, interacting with our caring team, exercising and burning off plenty of pent-up energy. You’ll no longer feel guilty about not having enough time or energy to play with your dog after a long day of work because at the end of every day, you’ll pick up a perfectly happy (and played out) pup.
Wanting to be part of a pack is deeply instinctual for dogs; that’s why we integrate open play with others into their daily routine. Regular playtime with other dogs has a number of benefits, including:
- Being more social around dogs and people
- Staying physically fit. Pet obesity is a growing concern, as a recent study suggests 54% of US dogs are overweight
- Learning positive behavior, leading to less doggie mischief at home
With Dogtopia, your furry family member will learn how to be a well-balanced pup. Each new dog gets a report card at the end of the day detailing their behavior, who they made friends with, and how well they interacted with the team and other dogs. We also provide our regular customers with frequent updates on their dog’s temperament, as well as advice on how to replicate our training at home.
We know structure is important for your dog’s development. Here’s a typical day at dog daycare:
- 8 – 11:45 am: Supervised open play time which includes romping, frolicking, sniffing and fun with their BFFFs (best furry friends forever)
- 11:45 am – 1:15 pm: Well-deserved rest time
- 1:15 pm – 5:00 pm Open play again before their parents pick up a tired and calm dog
SAFE, SUPERVISED PLAYROOMS
Our dog daycare facilities include spacious, climate-controlled playrooms that are 100% fully supervised. Our playrooms are grouped by size, personality and play style to make sure your dog is safe and comfortable. Before staying with us, our team first meets with your dog to ensure they will be a good fit for our open play environment.
Our playroom floors are specially designed with your dog’s comfort in mind. The compressed rubber is soft, easy to sanitize and makes for happy paws and pups.
You won’t see any chain link fences at our facilities. Instead, we separate our playrooms with walls to prevent the spread of airborne contagions. This also provides a relaxing environment for our guests since the sight of other dogs between rooms may lead to barrier frustration.
Need a cuteness fix? You can easily check in on your furry family member throughout the day via our playroom webcams using your computer or smart phone. You’ll see firsthand how attentive our team is with your dog.
A TEAM YOU CAN TRUST
As Dogtopians, we’re a unique breed. Our team of dog care professionals provide a safe and fully supervised environment. Team members must complete rigorous training on dog body language and behavior. Our playroom attendants aren’t just watchdogs; they are certified pack leaders dedicated to giving your dog a day filled with:
- socialization
- education
- exercise
Our team takes detailed notes on your dog’s activities, allowing us to easily identify subtle behavioral changes that may indicate possible health issues. We’ll shower your pup with individual attention and affection, and help them reach their full potential at any age.

SCHEDULE A MEET AND GREET FOR DOG DAYCARE
If you’re planning to have your dog come to dog daycare with us, please schedule a meet and greet with our staff. This will let us determine if we are the right fit for your pup, and give your dog a chance to get familiar with our facility. Contact us to book your free, no-obligation tour or fill out our enrollment form.
Choosing the best dog daycare
On the tour, make sure you can see how and where your dog will play. Dogs need a fun/large, safe, and clean place to run and play regardless of the weather while attending dog daycare. When dogs aren’t able to use up all their energy, just like kids, they can become grumpy and bottled up energy can lead to some not so fun things happening back at home. A dog daycare with large indoor and outdoor space with at least 9 hours of open play is exactly what your pup needs. Dogtopia can provide all that along with 100% supervision, as safety is most important when choosing a dog daycare for your pups.
Dog Daycare becomes a second home
The more familiar the place you choose to leave your pup for dog daycare, the less stressful it will be. This is why you should always attempt to bring your dog to visit and play prior to coming full time or part time. That is why at Dogtopia we require a Meet & Greet prior to their first full stay at dog daycare. This also ensures safety of all our guests! Since dog’s process time very differently, dropping them off and picking them up for hours of play at different points prior to a full day will greatly lessen your dog from stressing once full-time in dog daycare. Not only does it help them become familiar with the place and team there, it shows them that my parent drops me off and my parent picks me up. It also helps the team get to know what is your family member’s “normal” behavior looks like so if they do become stressed, they can better identify that during the stay.
While it is ok to feel sad and mopey when you leave your beloved family, doing so can cause your dog to sense your discomfort and become upset. Keep the goodbyes short and sweet just like any other fun day at daycare and you can come back to find that your dog enjoyed his “day at play” just as much as you did!
