We offer private one-on-one lessons, daily daycare add-on lessons, as well as all inclusive weekly day training camps and overnight board-and-train packages. All dogs must be current on Rabies, Distemper/Parvo and Bordetella and complete Meet & Greet to participate in any group play-and-train options. Private lessons do not require completion of a Meet & Greet. We do not currently work with any human- or dog-aggression at this time. Devon has been in the Doggie Daycare and Training business for over 10 years. She got her start in the industry at a local Phoenix daycare, learning the basics of dog body language and managing dogs in a group play setting as a Dog Handler. As she became more familiar with the pups in her care, her interest in dog behavior and training grew. Devon completed an apprenticeship in Las Vegas, Nevada with her mentor, studying dog training techniques and how to best utilize them for a happy, healthy and well-mannered best friend. She also became competent in teaching pet parents how to continue that training at home, to ensure success at any age. Chanel Alvarez, Dog Trainer in Training
Chanel has been a life-long dog lover! Her dreams of working with animals began with a journey as a dog walker and sitter in Phoenix. She has spent 5 years as a volunteer at the Arizona Humane Society, caring for their rescue dogs and networking to find them the perfect home. Chanel joined the Dogtopia Team in 2021 as a Canine Coach. She has excelled in her care and treatment of dogs in her play groups, allowing her to become more knowledgeable in dog body language and basic training concepts. She has continued her education as an apprentice to Devon, our Lead Trainer, and is excited to learn more and work with your pups to help them become well-mannered canine citizens!
