The Dogtopia Foundation Canada is our purpose beyond profit. It allows us to individually and collectively support causes we value and enables dogs to positively change our world. The Dogtopia Foundation Canada supports programs focused on three worthy causes: Service Dogs for Veterans and First Responders, Youth Literacy Programs and Employment Initiatives for Adults with Autism. Together, our support provides the opportunity to elevate our communities and significantly impact the causes we champion.

Through our Service Dogs for Veterans and First Responders cause, we support programs that positively impact the lives of  military service members, Veterans and First Responders. Dogtopia of Pickering is proud to fundraise to helps sponsor service dogs in training for military Veterans and First Responders with physical and emotional challenges. 100% of the donations received are giving to the organizations we support.

NATIONAL SERVICE DOGS

Gator is currently with his puppy raiser. He is being taught a foundation of house manners and cues, for becoming a well-socialized part of the community.All of the training and care provided to each dog would not be possible without the support of generous volunteers and donors.

As of March 2023, Gator has been working on his confidence around novel objects and new under footings. He is doing so well and continues to show his trainers that he can take on new challenges with ease. He also got to have a short reunion with his brother Gatsby while spending the day at NSD.

Gator is doing well! He just celebrated his first birthday! He is such a loveable pup and is always improving on his skills.

Blair is being raised and trained to provide life-changing independence to someone with a physical disability other than visual impairment or to work with a professional such as a teacher, psychologist or victim services worker to help support a healthy community.
