At Dogtopia of Pittsburgh-Eastside, we pride ourselves on having a more personalized overnight stay! While your pup stays with us, they have up to 10 hours of open play during the weekday, and 6 hours on the weekends! This is because all pups that stay with us are enrolled in daycare for the day. Unlike other facilities, we do not have dog runs or enclosed locations where they are by themselves all day or only let out for short periods. They are out in play all day! We know, it’s different, and a little more expensive. But there are no add-ons like other places for cuddle time and outdoor walks. They get extra attention and exercise all day, and its always included!
We all know that boarding can be stressful on pups. That’s why all pups that stay overnight with us must pass a meet and greet evaluation and participate in at least 3 days of daycare prior to staying. That way, we are sure they like the vibe here and are comfortable hanging out with us, and ensures less stress on them while you are away! We have found this leads to healthier, happier pups!
At this time, we do not have drop off or pick up available on the weekends, due to a shortage of front desk staff currently. All staff is in back caring for the pups! We hope to change this in the very near future, so stay tuned! Last drop off is 7 pm Friday night, and pick up begins at 7 am on Monday.
