Mike LOVES to spend time at Dogtopia of Roanoke! In fact, the word “Dogtopia” is one of his trigger words – If I say it he jumps up and starts spinning in circles excited to go play with all his Dogtopia buds. The staff knows me by name and are friendly an accommodating. We love Dogtopia of Roanoke!
I love how every team member knows our dog and greets us with a smile.
Most of my experience so far has been positive, but there was one trainer/coach watching the dogs that just wasn’t very attentive. I get there were a lot of dogs but no one was being separated when they needed a cool down/time out, dogs (not mine)were consistently humping and rarely separated and my dog and 2 others where none stop when they should have been separated and given time to relax at least once in the hour and a half they were playing. My dog is still learning and is young and doesn’t self regulate very well yet so it’s important to me to have someone help her with that when needed. I was hesitant to bring her back but the two who watched the group the next time were much more attentive and I felt better leaving her with them.
