Meet the Team
Marily (She/Her), General Manager
“I’d like to introduce myself to our current and future pet parents. My name is Marily Bailey and I’ve been part of Dogtopia Franchise a little over 4 1/2 years now. I worked at our Miramar location for 2 1/2 years before moving back to Washington 2019.
I love animals and I feel like we can always learn something from them. I have 2 pups of my own named Kamiko and Ares. I also own a cat named Mochi and a ball python named Shisui. My family has a love for reptiles, we have 2 geckos, 2 tarantulas, and 2 scorpions’. So our home is filled all sorts of tiny and big creatures. You will see my 4-year running around the store with me!
Before returning back to Dogtopia, I was trying to find my way back to the medical field and obtaining my license as a medical assistant, but I just absolutely love being around our pups and the flexibility Dogtopia provides. My goal is to provide the upmost care to our pups here at Harbor Steps.” 💕🐾
Charlotte (They/Them), Assistant Manager
“Hi! I’m Charlotte and I’ve been with Dogtopia since June of 2021. As some of our pet parents know, I had a short period of time away where I was pursuing other possible career opportunities but ultimately came back because of how much I missed our pups and their families.
Being someone who doesn’t have a dog of their own, every day that I get to come in and see your dogs is so special to me. I do have, however, have a two year old cat named Stella and I really hope to give her a dog sibling she’ll love someday. When I’m not at Dogtopia, I’m either studying coding languages (currently learning Python 😀), watching food shows with my partner (mostly Great British Bake Off), or PC gaming. 🎮
We’re constantly pushing to be able to give our pet parents and their pups the most fulfilling experiences as possible, and I’m excited to be part of the management team for a place that I care so deeply about!”
Shental (She/Her), Operational Manager
“Hey, I’m Shental! I’ve been with Dogtopia of Harbor Steps since we first opened in 2019. Since I’ve been here from the beginning, I’ve enjoyed meeting your pups, watching them grow up, getting to know their personalities, and seeing them make new friends.
I do have a dog named Max who is is a 14-year-old chihuahua mix, but unfortunately he lives in New Mexico with my sister. When I’m not at work, I’m usually hanging out with friends/family, going on road trips, at Mariners games with my mom, watching movies, or trying out new boba shops!
I enjoy my time here at Dogtopia and love getting to know the pet parents and their dogs. Thank you for trusting us to take care of your fur babies! 😊✨🐶”
