I’ve been with Dogtopia in South Elgin literally since the first day they’ve opened their doors! Dave and his entire crew are exceptional, people and pet “friendly,” clean, professional and efficient! I love that I can “see” my babies anytime I want…(wish these services were available in preschool and kindergarten when my kids were growing up). One of my furbabies is very timid—I love watching a whole other side to her away from me! Thanks Dave and crew for a clean, safe and fun place for the 4-legged members of my family!
10. I just have a question or feedback, we noticed this boarding of Zaggy he got back coughing and sneezing including Beki his cousin. I know they do have their own bowl and food when eating but noticed for water everyone is sharing in one bowl. Is there a way in the future Zaggy can have his own bowl? Or all dogs will have their own for safety. Just that if other dogs are sick they might catch it too and I think that’s what happened on this situation while boarding for 7 nights. I might take Zaggy this morning to his vet if not better today just to be sure. Just a feedback as I know safety matters for you guys too. Thanks but overall we are happy just that part regarding one bowl for all dogs when drinking. If I can request this for Zaggy in the future that will be so much better.
Owner is wonderful. The team is very informative. This was my pups first experience with other dogs, I was very nervous but the staff helped myself and my pup feel safe and secure. The rooms are clean and very cool for your pups. There are spaces to play and relax. The cameras are a great touch as well
Our Sinerian husky loves coming for daycare! She gets so excited when we tell her where we are going and that she can ‘play with frens’.
We really love the cameras and appreciate the mid day two hour down time for the dogs to rest in separate kennels. The days can be especially long for senior dogs and our girl needs that separation to get a good relaxing break. The routine is so helpful.
We are so happy with all the staff! We know our girl feels so comfortable at the South Elgin location and will continue to consider the staff ‘extended family’ because of the trust we have in them.
Always friendly, treat the dogs great. We have two crazy puppies that are still learning how to act and everyone is very patient with them.

Dogtopia in S Elgin is the most amazing Dog Play & Stay business that we have ever experienced. Amazing staff, our dogs come home exhausted and super happy. They way their tails on the way in and out. The online monitoring makes it easy to confirm their experience and environment are safe & enriching. If they have room for your pet then don’t look anywhere else. Book holidays well in advance for boarding. Mike & Anna Sullivan
I like that you have good supervision of dogs in daycare. I like that there is a person with all dogs in the play area. I think my dog will have a chance to become socialized with other dogs. I think it will be a good experience for my dog. The dogs all have space to walk around. They are not isolated.
Every one is friendly and nice. My dog is in grooming and comes home beautiful!
