Dogs are at their best when they’re engaged and socializing in a comfortable and supervised environment where they’re able to interact with other dogs, burn off energy and create memorable memories. Our daycare is not just a place for your pup to stay; they’ll also be gaining concrete skills about how to behave around humans and other dogs.

Our facility features open, supervised playrooms where dogs are separated based on their size, temperament and play style. Your pup will enjoy hours of play and exercise in our off-leash open-play environment. We also offer quality boarding and doggie spa services.

STATE-OF-THE-ART FACILITY

Owners Josh McLane and Ally Gordillo can’t wait to welcome you to our modern and clean facility, which has been carefully designed to ensure your dog’s safety. Each of our spacious indoor playrooms includes a climate-controlled HVAC system to maintain a consistent temperature while your dog plays and naps in addition to circulating fresh and clean air. Our playrooms are deep-cleaned and sanitized multiple times a day using biologically safe, pet-friendly cleaning supplies. They also feature compressed rubber flooring, which has been specifically designed to be gentle on your pup’s paws and joints.

We know it can be upsetting to be away from your dog, which is why we installed webcams in each of our playrooms, allowing you to see what your pup is up to during the day (excluding naptime and overnight). To access this feature, you just need a device connected to the internet.

Your dog’s safety is our number one priority, which is why our Canine Coaches must complete a rigorous training, designed by a canine behaviorist, on dog body language and behavior. Our team knows how to recognize even the most subtle dog body language, and handle dogs of all sizes, breeds and temperaments.

Dogtopia of Westchase has earned certification status as a Heroes for Healthy Pets^TM facility. The Heroes for Healthy Pets^TM Certification Program in Infectious Disease Management provides training for preventative care, including strategic vaccination, and cleaning and disinfection protocols to help maintain disease-free facilities and keep pets healthy.

The program is co-sponsored by the International Boarding and Pet Services Association, National Association of Veterinary Technicians in America, Pet Sitters International, VETgirl, and Barkleigh Productions.

We are a member of the Upper Tampa Bay Chamber of Commerce and we have a great relationship with Westchase Veterinary and Emergency Center, CountryChase Veterinary, Woodlands Animal Hospital, Ehrlich Animal Hospital and Harbor Springs Veterinary. In 2016, we were awarded the Above and Beyond: Highest Satisfaction Award among all Dogtopia franchisees.

We are located in the Silvermill Plaza and offer plenty of customer parking. You can find us one light up from the Target, located near Petsmart. We are also near Publix, Home Depot and Lowes. If you’re driving, our nearest intersections are Hillsborough Ave and Montague St (coming from Oldsmar), Hillsborough Ave and Memorial Hwy (coming from South Tampa), Hillsborough Ave and Countryway (coming from Westchase), and Hillsborough and Race Track Rd (coming from Odessa).

SCHEDULING

If you want to schedule your dog for daycare, boarding or spa services, please contact us to arrange a time and date.  Before you book your dog to stay overnight, we ask that you schedule a Meet and Greet with our staff. This will include vaccination confirmation, a review of your dog’s history and health, nose to tail assessment, and an evaluation of how they fare in our open-play environment, and daycare before a stay.
