Going out of town can be stressful. Between planning, booking, packing and getting ready, you have enough on your plate. Let us take away a major concern: where your beloved furry family member will stay. At Dogtopia Westchase, your pup can stay for however many days you’ll be away. We provide a safe, clean and fun home away from home, so you can rest easy and enjoy your time apart without feeling any worry or guilt about leaving your pup behind. They’ll be enjoying their own playcation while you’re away!
Superior DOG BOARDING
Dogtopia of Westchase offers so much more than a place for your dog to stay. Our boarding dogs enjoy exciting days of structured play with our daycare dogs. We don’t have kennel runs where dogs spend all day isolated and barely go out for a short walk. That kind of environment doesn’t provide the amount of exercise a dog needs each day in order to be happily tired at night. Instead, our boarding dogs enjoy full access to our open play and off-lease setting throughout the day.
At the end of the day, they’ll sleep in the same area they were playing in earlier to help them feel comfortable and familiar. We also offer suites for overnight boarding upon request. When it’s time to turn in, boarding dogs will be tuckered out after a full day of fun with their furry friends and look forward going to bed. Everybody sleeps peacefully at Dogtopia of Westchase!
Dogtopia of Westchase is staffed with dog care professionals who strive to ensure your dog is satisfied, healthy and comfortable during their time with us. It’s essential for your pup to feel at home, so we encourage you pack their own food. We cater to each dog’s nutritional needs so if you would like them to follow the same diet as at home (raw food, dry, GI diet, homemade meals, etc.), we’re happy to oblige.
We also administer medication such as ointments and pills. No matter how long the list of medication is, we are always happy to do it!
Our typical boarding schedule includes:
- Morning potty break and breakfast at 6 am
- Open play from 7am-12pm
- Nap time from 12pm-2 pm
- More open play from 2pm-7pm
- Dinner at 5 pm
- Final potty break and more play time after 6pm
If a dog is boarding for an extended period and the pet parents want us to give their dog extra breaks and rest time, we’re happy to accommodate.
WEBCAM ACCESS
Being away from your dog doesn’t mean you can’t connect with them. Avoid separation anxiety by checking in on your pup throughout the day with our live webcams. See what your dog is up to using a desktop or mobile device.
SUPERVISED SAFETY
We are focused on protecting your dog and maintaining their health and happiness. The first step to take before your pup’s boarding stay is to visit Dogtopia of Westchase. This will be a meeting between our caring team and your dog to help us decide if our open-play, off-leash environment suits them. Contact us now to schedule your appointment.
Boarding dogs must have up to date rabies, distemper, bordetella and Canine Influenza vaccinations and be free of fleas, ticks and any contagious diseases.
SPA SERVICES
While your dog is already staying with us, why not treat them to a little pampering? In our overnight and weekend boarding packages, you can add a spa package so they’ll be fresh and clean when you pick them up.
Other than doggie baths, our extended spa treatment services include teeth brushing, ear cleaning, massage and facial treatments. After your pup’s boarding stay, they will feel like they’ve experienced puppy paradise.
Book Your DOG’s BOARDING
Your dog’s boarding rate includes off-leash open play, so before your dog boards with us, you’ll need to schedule a Meet & Greet at Dogtopia. All new dogs, daycare and boarding, go through this process and all boarding dogs must be eligible for open play. This meeting will give our staff a chance to meet your pup and learn whether or not they will enjoy the energy of our open-play, off-leash environment. ln addition to the Meet & Greet, all new boarding dogs are required to attend 3 days of daycare at Dogtopia within the 30 days prior to their stay. This ensures your doggie will be well-acclimated before you leave them overnight and our staff will have a sense of their playstyle and energy level, ensuring the safest boarding stay.
