DOG BOARDING IN DOWNTOWN FORT WORTH, TEXAS
Our open-play boarding makes your pup’s sleepover not only a vacation for you but also for them. While you’re away, they will play and interact with other like-minded furry companions at daycare in one of our four safe, clean, and supervised playrooms. With open-play boarding, they get more play time and less crate time, with up to 10 hours of open play during the day. When bedtime rolls around, they are ready to fall into the Dogtopia Daze.
Boarding pups can enjoy all the activities we have going on throughout the day, such as agility-focused exercises, mind-stimulating brain games, occasional themed photoshoots, arts and crafts activities, playroom bubble parties with flavored bubbles that float around the room, and more.
Your dog will have the Most Exciting Day Ever in our secure, enriching environment. Our spacious off-leash playrooms, separated by floor-to-ceiling, soundproof walls, allow our pups to play and socialize while being closely supervised by our trained Canine Coaches.
At noon, they will chow down on lunch and drift off to dreamland to feel recharged before more playtime fun. Our team uses this time to clean each playroom and sanitize all surfaces. We only use dog-safe, chemical-free cleaning products, so you can rest assured that your pup won’t be taking in harmful smells. At 2 p.m., they return to playing, socializing, exercising, and learning with their BFFFs (Best Furry Friends Forever).
By evening, our team will serve dinner to your furry friend and prepare them for bed. By morning, they’ll be ready to hit the repeat button. Because our open play is all day, pups do not have to be kenneled throughout the day or rotated into play groups like other boarding facilities.
Our modern playrooms are designed with your pup’s comfort and safety in mind. We have comfortable flooring made from compressed rubber, so walking, running, and playing is easier on their paw pads, hips, and joints, while our advanced HVAC systems keep fresh air circulating to help maintain a clean environment. With double barrier doors that create a space between each playroom and our main hall, you can rest assured that all entries and exits are secure (pups won’t be able to make a mad dash to our front-of-store).
We also bring the fun outdoors! Our facility has two secure outdoor play areas where pups can soak in the sunshine, weather permitting. Adding this outside time creates a novel environment for them.
Our team asks that you bring your furry friend to daycare at least three times before their overnight stay. That way, they can become familiar with their playroom, our team, and our itinerary. If you have any questions about daycare, boarding, or more, please contact us using our convenient online inquiry form.
WE HAVE DOG-LOVING CANINE COACHES AT OUR FACILITY
Dogtopia of Fort Worth - Downtown’s professionally trained Canine Coaches know how to manage large groups of dogs of varying sizes and breeds. Skilled in understanding doggy body language, our team can pick up on sudden cues and changes in behavior and respond accordingly and compassionately.
Our Coaches have completed a comprehensive, four-part training program approved for continuing education credits by the International Association of Animal Behavior Consultants and the Certification Council for Professional Dog Trainers.
Your pup will interact, play, and learn from our dog-loving Coaches who will treat your furry family member with quality care as if they were their own.
ACCESS OUR LIVE DOG DAYCARE WEBCAMS
Being away from your dog is never easy. That’s why we’ve installed HD webcams in each play area (indoor + outdoor) so you can check in on your pup. Accessible via Dogtopia’s mobile app and website, you will get front-row seats to all the tail-wagging fun your furry friend is up to during the day.
The only times we turn off the livestream are at naptime between 12 and 2 p.m. and at bedtime after 7 p.m. when we dim the lights.
ADD A SPA TRIP
We like to think of overnight stays as staycations, and what better way to honor that than with some pampering at our doggie spa? Adding a couple of our treatments to your dog’s stay can be a great way to keep them on top of their hygiene routine and have them look their best when you pick them up.
Our treatments range from nail trims, baths, grooming, and more. With a team of spa experts, you can trust that we’ll create a peaceful, relaxing environment so pups can feel at ease.
before attending Dogtopia of Fort Worth - Downtown
All pups must meet Dogtopia’s requirements before they step their first paw at our facility; it’s our way of providing a healthy and secure environment for all. The requirements include:
- Must be 12 weeks and older
- Spayed/neutered if seven months and older
- Healthy and free of any transmittable conditions, such as fleas and ticks
- Non-aggressive and not protective over food or toys
- Up to date on all doggie vaccinations, such as DHLPP/DHPP (also known as distemper/parvo), Bordetella, and Rabies
Once you check these items off the list, your pup can attend a Meet & Greet at our facility, designed for us to get to know your dog and confirm that our environment suits them. The Meet & Greet involves a 20-30-minute assessment conducted by our team of evaluators. We will review your dog’s health history, perform a nose-to-tail physical examination, and observe their interactions with other dogs in a designated play area. Since our boarding dogs sleep in home-style crates, we will also evaluate your pup’s comfort level in one during this assessment.
Once we complete our evaluation, we’ll provide you with our observations and let you know if our facility is the right fit.
