Very clean without chemical smells. Knowledgeable and friendly staff.

The open communication from all teachers at Dogtopia, to all dog parents. Whether they are telling me about my girl, or they are letting another pet parent know how their pup did that day, there is always open and honest communication. I also love the updates with cute pictures. The activity calendar. Most of all, I love how excited my pup is to go to Dogtopia when we pull up to the parking garage, and the instant excitement starts in the car!

I have a frenchie, who freezes in winter and overheats in summer, and a totally climate controlled daycare is the only option. I also love the cameras so I can check in now and then. The staff are very loving and caring about all of the dogs, but the proof really is in the behavior of my dog. He is a rescue and an anxious little man, and at first he would try to run away when they would take him in back. He also wouldn’t walk on the lead when I came to pick him up, and would have to be pulled (I was glad to see they didn’t drag him by the neck, they pulled him by the harness). Now he jumps out of my arms when we turn the corner onto the street where Dogtopia is so he can run in the door, and runs in back even when I’m still standing inside. And now when it’s time to leave and they put the lead on him, he walks to the door willingly. All in the span of less than 9 months! He’s become a more confident, less anxious dog not only around other dogs, but people, but the best part is how much he loves Dogtopia! Dogtopia is such a blessing, thanks to everyone there for loving my little guy!

dogs are separated by size. it is indoor so my dog gets to run around and have fun so matter the weather

I love how much they love our Mr. Remus. They are always excited to see him and he is just as excited to see them. They care for him as if he is one of their own and that’s all we can ask for in a day care/boarding

Dogtopia is the dog sitter away from home. They really care about my Brooklyn and all the other pups and dogs. They know the dogs by name and show an authentic concern about their well being. My fur baby is a bit spoiled with eating nuke warmed food and they accommodate my madness lol. The employees are beyond phenomenal and they listen to your concerns. They genuinely love dogs and you can see and feel it. I haven’t boarded Brooklyn yet but I feel 110% assured that she would be ok when I decide to do so. Initially I used to watch the Webcam all day, now I may miss some days. I am an overprotective fur mama and I trust Dogtopia and give them my utmost respect.

Everything, the accommodations and the staff are top notch and my dog loves his time there.

I LOVE this place! I adopted my yellow lab retriever in August and immediately bonded with the folks at the Dogtopia in Town Center Virginia Beach, VA. The personnel are wonderful to work with. I feel very Blessed.
