Craft safety for dogs should be accounted for when engaging in crafting activities with or for dogs. It’s so important to select supplies that non-toxic. When choosing supplies for crafts with your pup consider these great products.

Non-Toxic Paints

  • Acrylic Paints: Look for non-toxic paint that is water based
  • Fabric Paints: If choosing to use fabric paint, make sure they are labeled as non-toxic and washable.

Natural colors and Dyes

  • Vegetable-Based Dyes: Using  dyes made from vegetables like beets, spinach, and turmeric can be a great alternative to paints.
  • Food Coloring: Craft safety for dogs always included using food coloring.  It is safe for use in moderation, especially for fabric or homemade toys.

Safe Glues

  • Natural Inks: Inks made from natural ingredients. Natural colors can be extracted from plants, minerals, fungi, lichen, wood bark, roots, foods.  Be sure to always choose NON-TOXIC materials.

Wood
