Mastering Manners 1 – $350

This class is 6 series foundational course focusing on enhancing the bond between humans and their canine companions by equipping them with effective communication skills. Through this curriculum, participants will learn to cultivate a robust relationship, instill confidence, and establish clear behavior expectations with their dogs.

This is a 5 class series and is the second step in your dogs manner mastery journey! In order to take this class you must have taken MM1, be enrolled in private training or been approved by our trainers! We will focus on working through tougher distractions, intermediate level obedience skills, socialization skills, lobby skills and much more. This class will take place inside and outside.

4 Dog Limit
This is a 6 week class crafted to empower dog parents with the knowledge and skills needed to comprehensively address and transform their dogs’ strong reactions to other dogs and people.Throughout this course, participants will embark on a journey of discovery, covering the following essential topics:
Understanding Reactivity: Gain insights into the root causes of reactivity in dogs and explore the various levels of reactivity your dog may exhibit. By identifying underlying causes and triggers, you’ll be better equipped to manage and address these behaviors effectively.
Mastering Canine Body Language: Sharpen your ability to recognize and interpret the subtle signals dogs use to communicate their emotions. This skill is essential for understanding your dog’s emotional state and responding appropriately.
Navigating Overstimulating Environments: Discover effective techniques to help your dog stay calm and focused in highly stimulating environments. Learn strategies to set your dog up for success and prevent overwhelming situations.
Engaging with Pattern Games: Explore the world of pattern games, an engaging and impactful way to redirect your dog’s energy and attention. These games provide mental stimulation and can be a powerful tool in managing reactivity.
Transforming Emotional Reactions: We will be teaching out dogs better coping skills and communication skills to over come their emotions. This approach helps replace fear, anxiety, or frustration with positive or neutral associations.
Counter Conditioning: Delve into the fundamentals of counter conditioning and its application. Understand how this technique can alter your dog’s emotional reactions, paving the way for calmer and more positive behavior.

8 Dog Limit
This is a 5 week class and is the next step after RR1 or private lessons in changing our dogs big emotions to triggers. This class takes place at Roger Williams Park and we will be putting into real-world practice all of the skills and handling techniques we learned in RR1. This class allows us to add real world situations into a controlled environment to help our dogs change their underlying emotions toward their triggers. The course encompasses the following core elements:
- Roots of Reactivity: Gain insights into the roots of reactivity and explore the diverse levels of reactivity exhibited by dogs and where your dog is at. Learning to Understand the underlying causes and triggers is key to effective management.
- Body Language Mastery: Develop a keen eye for canine body language, a critical skill in identifying and interpreting the signals dogs use to communicate their emotional state.
- Creating Success in Overstimulating Environments: Learn invaluable techniques for setting your dog up for success in highly stimulating environments. Effective management strategies will be discussed to ensure dogs remain calm and focused.
- Pattern Games: Dive into the world of pattern games, an engaging and effective way to redirect and channel a dog’s attention and energy. These games promote mental stimulation and can be pivotal in managing reactivity.
- Behavioral Adjustment Training Protocols: A powerful approach designed to help dogs overcome reactivity and fear-based behaviors. This method focuses on empowering your dog to make confident choices and encourages calm, socially acceptable behaviors through positive reinforcement and gradual exposure to triggers.

Confidence Building Workshop – $70 (6 dog limit)
