Meet the Team
Jessica G., General Manager
For 9 years, Jessica has worked in the animal care industry. She started as a General Manager at Dogtopia in March 2023. Her passion for animals centers on animal care and wellness. This passion drives her to learn as much as she can about how to provide the best care for dogs. She believes that the more we can learn, share, and teach each other about animal care, the more happy, healthy and safe pets there will be. She absolutely loves coming to work everyday and spending time with the dogs and treating them as if they were her own. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her family, her dogs (Carly and Sydney), and spending time outdoors!
Jacy H., Playroom Manager
Jacy is 21 years old and has lived in Wilmington her whole life. In April of 2022, Jacy decided to make a jump from the service industry to the animal industry. She has worked at Dogtopia of Wilmington since June of 2022, starting as a Canine Coach and now Playroom Manager. There is not a dog that she meets that she doesn’t want to be best friends with.She has two dogs, Willow (Hound mix) and her family’s dog, Loki (Lab mix). Outside of work, she enjoys taking walks with her boyfriend and Willow, thrift shopping, and lounging on the couch watching horror movies!
Sierra, Foundation Ambassador & Rover
August marks Sierra’s first year at Dogtopia, an incredible and challenging journey that has deepened her passion for animal care and handling. Her earlier experience at SouthGate Grill provided a solid foundation, fostering the ambition and compassion she now brings to her role at Dogtopia. Her love for animals started in childhood, caring for all creatures, from roly-poly’s and squirrels to dogs and numerous other pets, nurturing her lifelong dedication to their welfare.
Rachel, Safety Officer & Rover
Rachel is coming up on her one year anniversary with Dogtopia. Her dedication and skills led her to her promotion to Rover. Before coming to Dogtopia, she was making high quality dog food in a commercial kitchen. Rachel was born and raised in Wilmington, DE. She has one daughter who is fourteen. She has three hound dogs named Louie, Porky, and Gus
