Just like you, we consider dogs to be members of the family. That’s why we prioritize their safety in our modern facility, starting with our Meet & Greet evaluation. It is important that we get to know each dog that enters our location to help ensure they will thrive in our open-play, off-leash environment.
Our thorough all day evaluation includes a health history overview, nose-to-tail wellness check, assessments of their comfort level in a crate and responses to staff interaction, and other overall observations. Note: All dogs must be at least 12 weeks old, with up-to-date vaccinations, including Rabies, DHLPP/DHPP (also known as “distemper/parvo) and Bordetella. Dogs seven months old and up must be spayed or neutered. Our team will inform you whether the Canine Influenza vaccine is required before your pup’s stay with us.

Our 5,218 sq ft. facility includes three different playrooms to accommodate dogs of varying sizes, temperaments, and play styles. The Toybox is ideal for smaller breeds, the Gym is best for our larger pups, and the Romper Room is for the dogs who fall somewhere in-between, such as medium-sized dogs or those with higher energy levels. Separating our daycare dogs helps maximize comfort and keeps those tails happily wagging. Both playtime and downtime can be enjoyed by all!
Each playroom is supervised by our highly trained Canine Coaches, who help maintain safety and encourage socialization. Certified by multiple nationally recognized associations in canine behavior, our Canine Coaches are experts in maintaining control of large groups of dogs and can detect even the slightest change in mood or behavior. Any issues that arise are addressed in a timely and compassionate manner, which helps keep our off-leash environment a safe (and fun) place for pups to roam and play with their like-minded furry friends.
Our Canine Coaches also compile occasional report cards that outline your dog’s behavior during their stay, the furry friends they made, and tips that can help you replicate our positive educational methods and techniques at home.
We offer a variety of weekly wellness plans that fit the pet parents’ budget, busy lifestyle, and the needs of their dog. Need a home away from home for your furry family member? Our boarding package options are ideal if your pup needs to stay for longer, overnight stretches.
A typical day at our facility involves supervised, off-leash, open play from the time we open until noon. Then until 2:00 p.m. pups recharge in home-style crates (the same type our boarding pups stay in). It’s also a chance for them to enjoy some lunch and take any medication, if required. Fully fueled, rested and ready to keep playing, our dogs can then enjoy the rest of the day in play until closing time.
Throughout the day, our daycare and boarding dogs can enjoy a trip to our doggy spa, where we offer numerous treatments and grooming. Pet parents can visit Dogtopia of Woodbury just for this or plan a spa treatment near the end of a daycare or boarding stay. That way, your pup can feel – and smell – great when you pick them up.
We also offer puppy preschool on Saturdays with a focus on socialization training, manners, and crate training with our Certified Canine Coaches. Following a routine filled with activity, mind stimulation, and socialization early on in your pup’s life is a great way to familiarize them to new environments and skills, which can help them as they grow and develop.

OUR COMMITMENT TO CLEANLINESS
At Dogtopia of Woodbury, we not only put safety as a top priority but cleanliness as well. When you visit our location, you will see full, soundproof walls that separate our playrooms. This is beneficial in preventing and containing health issues, especially with many dog illnesses being airborne, and it helps keep our pups focused on their like-minded BFFFs rather than dogs in neighboring playrooms. Plus, since our playrooms are indoors, we don’t have to worry about dirt or mud – saving you any clean up when your pup comes home.
Each playroom has flooring made from compressed rubber, which helps keep pups’ paws comfortable as they play and run around. It also aids in their long-term joint health—a benefit that you won’t find in other dog daycares that choose gravel or cement. Our playroom flooring is also non-absorbent and can resist odors, which allows us to sanitize it easily using natural cleaners for any potty mishaps during the day.
To protect against the things we can’t see, all our playrooms have a UV-filtered HVAC system. This helps keep a consistent temperature during play and nap time, and it keeps the air fresh and circulating to minimize bacteria.
We sanitize our playrooms multiple times a day using a biologically safe, dog-friendly cleaner. This, in addition to all of our other safety protocols, has been approved by our very own Environmental Biologist, making Dogtopia the only national dog daycare brand to do so.

While our Canine Coaches are always supervising our pups during play, we want our pet parents to enjoy the fun as well! This is why our playrooms are equipped with webcams that you can access via our website or free mobile app during playtime hours. Our private stream, only available to customers, can give you peace of mind that you left your pup in great hands while you are at work or out of town.

You will find us at the corner of Radio Drive and Tamarack near Nothing Bundt Cakes, Raising Cane’s Chicken, and a Holiday gas station.
